Expect the remainder of your Independence Day holiday and most of this week to be hot and unbearable in the bi-state region. The National Weather Service in St. Louis has activated a Heat Advisory Sunday afternoon. Stolen motorcycle gets Shelby County man behind bars

SHELBYVILLE -- An incident relating to a stolen motorcycle leads to multiple charges filed against a Shelby County man. Elijah Keppler, 29, of Tower Hill, is accused of entering a building and stealing a Yamaha motorcycle. The office of Shelby County State's Attorney Nichole Kroncke states that Keppler was in the possession of methamphetamine (meth). PANA -- The Pana CUSD #8 school board gave approval to its 2022-23 fiscal budget during its regular meeting on Monday, June 20.
