GREENVIEW -- Officials in Menard County have identified the man killed in an early-morning crash Friday near Greenview. The Menard County Sheriff's Department identified the man as Chance C. Rutherford, 27, of Greenview. Deputies state that they were called shortly after 5 a.m. Friday to a report of a single-vehicle crash. SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Friday that a bridge deck patching project on U.S. 67 in Morgan County will begin next week. The project involves the southbound bridge over Mauvaise Terre Creek between Concord/Arenzville Road and Thomason Road. This project begins Monday, August 3, per the news release Friday.. VIRGINIA -- Three individuals are currently in custody at the Cass County Jail on suspicion of burglary.
