The flagship of all of our operations is the Heartland Newsfeed news organization, which started in December 2016.

Initially covering news across Central Illinois, that mission expanded in 2021 to parts of Southern Illinois following the closure of many newspapers. In some of those counties, the closure of their local newspaper ended up creating news deserts.

In 2022, news coverage was expanded to Eastern Missouri, including the greater majority of the Mississippi River Valley.

LOCAL COVERAGE AREA

Heartland Digital

Heartland Digital operates the day-to-day operations for its two Internet radio stations — Heartland Newsfeed Radio Network and Revolution Radio — and podcasting for the radio network and Heartland Newsfeed Podcast Network.

The division launched in May 2024, as the result of dividing segments of the business that managed digital operations and advertising.

The broadcast flagship of our operations is the Heartland Newsfeed Radio Network, which started in December 2018.

The news and sports talk station features a variety of options including politics, finance, sports, sports betting, travel, and more.

The political talk featured on this station is unlike anything on terrestrial radio: talk radio mostly – if not entirely – comprised of Libertarian personalities with an anti-authoritarian, pro-small government ideology.

Revolution Radio is the newest station to join the HMGCIEM family, launching in May 2024.

The Christian variety station offers a varying portfolio of genres, including Christian contemporary/CCM, Christian rock, Christian metal/metalcore, Christian rap and hip-hop, and Christian alternative, as well as remixes of Christian music hits and Christian-themed EDM music.

While programming is mostly conducted by an automated DJ, Revolution Radio has syndicated radio options from The MAD Christian Radio Show, a Christian rock-oriented program, and Movement Radio, a Christian EDM program.

Provision Media Group

Provision Media Group handles all advertising sales for Heartland Newsfeed, and all broadcast channels, including radio and podcasting. We will assist you throughout the whole marketing process up to and even after the launch of your ad campaign.

Heartland Production Studios

Heartland Production Studios handles all production matters relating to podcasting, particularly any audio production in partnership with another media group.

This division has been in operation since September 2019 with projects in the works.

Illinois Heartland Press

Illinois Heartland Press handles all print media matters, which includes but not limited to small project printing jobs and distribution contracts for existing newspapers.

This division has been in operation since January 2018 with distribution contracts currently with the Nokomis Free Press-Progress/Panhandle Press, Oakland Independent, Prairie Pulse, and the Daily Eastern News.

amazon hub

Heartland Media Group of Central Illinois & Eastern Missouri is a participating vendor in the Amazon Hub Delivery Partner program and delivers Amazon packages in the Nokomis area, not limited to the cities of Nokomis and Witt, the villages of Coalton and Ohlman, as well as rural areas of Coalton, Nokomis, Oconee, Ohlman, Owaneco, Rosamond, and Witt.

As the need arises, we will deliver packages in Irving and Wenonah.

The ETA of packages arriving at our Hub with will vary between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. with routes starting as early as 12 noon and as late as 8:15 p.m.
