WITT — On Tuesday, July 23, six members of Sewing for Missions met at the Witt United Methodist Church to deliver a truckload of finished children’s hospital gown to the Midwest Mission Distribution (MMDC) in Chatham. HILLSBORO -- Hillsboro Health will host a community blood drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals. NOKOMIS -- The Board of Education of Nokomis CUSD #22 met in regular session on Tuesday, July 16. Nokomis Superintendent Dr. Scott Doerr presented the monthly business report, in which he reported that the state has paid all mandated categorical payments except one payment of $1,240.96 for driver's education.
