NEAR TAYLORVILLE -- The Christian County Sheriff's Department (CCSD) is investigating a traffic crash near Taylorville resulting in the dead of a 31-year-old Nokomis man. On Wednesday, Dec. 8 at approximately 8:11 p.m., Christian-Shelby 911 received a call for an automotive accident on the Nokomis-Taylorville Blacktop (County Highway 1) just north of County Highway 8.
