TAYLORVILLE -- A request for a well-being check and reports of large numbers of cats in the area led Taylorville Police Department (TPD) to seize 61 cats from a residence. Currently, these animals are being housed at the county’s animal control, but they do need varying degrees of medical care and other needs. Quentin McKittrick TAYLORVILLE -- An Oconee man is facing six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after a recent conviction. Quentin J. McKittrick, 22, received a six-year prison sentence from Judge Brad Paisley on Monday, Apr. 25 for multiple charges.
