VILLA GROVE -- Illinois American Water (IAW) announced on September 22 the acquisition of Villa Grove's water and wastewater systems. The newly acquired systems add approximately 1,489 water and 1,069 wastewater customers to the Company’s eastern Illinois service area. FARMERSVILLE -- A truck driver from Northern Illinois is dead following an accident last week in the panhandle of Montgomery County. The accident, which occurred last Thursday, Sept. 22, occurred two-and-a-half miles north of Farmersville along Interstate 55.
