Two arrested in Nokomis drug bust

NOKOMIS -- A Nokomis woman and a Hillsboro man are in jail following a drug bust at a local business. Following an investigation stemming from an investigation, Nokomis Police served a search warrant on Wednesday, June 28. The warrant was serviced at Front Street Pub, 124 W. DECATUR -- A corrections officer in Macon County is now on the other side of the bars following an arrest. Adam Goodbrake of Decatur is in jail on a preliminary charge of "unlawful delivery of firearms to a felon," according to Sheriff Jim Root. Goodbrake, 25, faces accusations of illegally storing weapons for a felon he met who was in incarceration at the jail. SHELBYVILLE -- The National Weather Service in St. Louis and Lincoln issued air quality warnings earlier this week for most of Central Illinois.
