Nickel raffle among items in September Chamber meeting

NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis Chamber of Commerce met Thursday, September 9 at the Bottomley-Ruffing-Schalk Baseball Museum. Dr. Scott Doerr provided an update on the nickel raffle. Half of the tickets remain, with tickets being sold during the home games this fall. The drawing is tentatively set for January 2022. NOKOMIS -- The city of Nokomis’ inaugural citywide rummage sales will occur on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16. Delivery of submissions can be via a couple of ways. Half Witt Winery is celebrating its second anniversary in business this Labor Day weekend. David and Gail Bradshaw opened the establishment on August 24, 2019, offering seven of their award-winning wines.
