NOKOMIS — The closing on the former Nokomis Kroger store will occur sometime this week. Standard Holdings, LLC will close on the former Kroger store, owned by Kroger Limited Partnership.
Standard Holdings, LLC is an investment company that purchases various commercial properties and remodels them to meet the tenant’s needs as they have dealings with various types of businesses.
It is now nearly certain that the former Kroger store will become an expanded type of Dollar General store. Additional offerings may involve several different lines of food. Further developments on that expansion will come at a later date.
“Once the store is developed, I hope to be able to gauge what food needs may still be needed in the community,” said selling agent Jack Tosetti. “I will begin to work on it, based on information that I have been given.”
Tosetti is also overseeing the sale of former Kroger locations in Carrollton and White Hall. Currently, they are under contract with a different investment group. However, it appears they could become expanded Dollar General stores as well.
This is a developing story.
