Two injured in Interstate 55 collision Saturday

LITCHFIELD -- A Springfield man drove the wrong way on Interstate 55, colliding with another vehicle early Saturday morning. This is according to a police report from the Illinois State Police. Remington Montgomery, 37, of Springfield was driving southbound onto the northbound lanes of I-55 north of Litchfield in Montgomery County. NAPERVILLE -- North Central College junior pitcher Luke Lamm was selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic District Baseball Team on Thursday. Lamm, a native of Bolingbrook, and Plainfield East High School graduate, earned Academic All-District honors for the first time after achieving a 3.86 grade-point average (GPA) as an Accounting major.
