Effective tomorrow, Thursday, July 15, there will be a few updates to our weekday programming.

Sports Byline USA afternoon block expands

Ferrell Coast to Coast

After a couple of years of Titillating Sports and Wrestling Observer Live, the Sports Byline USA lineup in the afternoon is expanding.

Joining the lineup at 3 p.m. is Ferrall Coast to Coast.

A fixture on Sports Byline, in conjunction with SportsGrid Radio and SportsMap Radio Network, this presentation comes via our existing relationship with SBUSA.

Legendary sports shock jock Scott Ferrall takes the gaming world by storm with his “in your face” style previewing of the evening slate of games going over lines, totals, and props, keeping you out of harm’s way and on the right side of the line.

Ferrall can be seen daily on “Ferrall: Coast to Coast” on the SportsGrid Network, where he combines his love of sports talk and sports gambling to inform and entertain his audience.

Ferrall’s career began at the Indiana University where he covered their legendary basketball teams led by Bob Knight.

Since then, Ferrall has been heard throughout North America over the last 30+ years from local stations like his hometown KQV in Pittsburgh, WCNN in Atlanta, KNBR in San Francisco, WQAM in Miami or WFAN and WNEW in New York to his nationally syndicated shows on the Sports Entertainment Network, Westwood One, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and CBS Sports Radio.

Ferrall was also seen on TV screens in the late ’90s on his simulcasted “Ferrall on the Bench” on SportsChannel, doing sports for MTV as well as co-hosting “Battledome.”

Ferrall Coast to Coast will air weekdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.

Classic Radio Theater pushed to early mornings

classic radio theater

As a result of the afternoon live show addition, Classic Radio Theater will be moving to 5 a.m. each weekday morning leading up to Declare Your Independence. The 7-day-a-week program, hosted by Wyatt Cox, has been a feature of the radio network for some time.

The weekend broadcast times will continue their weekend broadcasts from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Central.

Lions of Liberty moves to 5 p.m.

A mainstay in our early morning schedule, Lions of Liberty will now be moving to weekday evenings at 5.

The broadcasts will vary but will involve a variety of their three weekly podcasts.

Bye, religious programming

Good. Riddance. I know 90 minutes of programming wasn’t easy to fill, but the daily maintenance on weekdays didn’t make it worthwhile.

Additionally, it hasn’t been transitioning at 5:30 a.m. like automation programming is to do. I am expressing relief that this problem is no more.

On the backend, we will be working on the schedule updating tonight. This is to ensure that everything is in order for tomorrow morning.
