Westbound I-64 in East St. Louis closes beginning August 14

EAST ST. LOUIS – The Illinois Department of Transportation will fully close westbound Interstate 64 between I-255 and 18th Street in St. Clair County beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, weather permitting. EDINA — The Edina City Council approved a 45-day trial of automated license plate reader cameras as city officials seek additional tools for police investigations. CHAMPAIGN — The City of Champaign will close one block of Fifth Street and part of Kirby Avenue for road work. Fifth Street will close between Daniel Street and Chalmers Street near campus. CASEYVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Thursday intermittent lane closures on Illinois Route 157.
