TAYLORVILLE -- A request for a well-being check and reports of large numbers of cats in the area led Taylorville Police Department (TPD) to seize 61 cats from a residence. Currently, these animals are being housed at the county’s animal control, but they do need varying degrees of medical care and other needs.
