NASHVILLE/BELLEVILLE – The Illinois State Police (ISP) has arrested three men involved in the death of a Washington County man. ISP's Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced the arrests Thursday in a news release. The arrests have links to the death of 44-year-old Montez Pearson following an extensive investigation. TAYLORVILLE -- A Kincaid woman is dead following an incident involving a Norfolk Southern train in rural Taylorville, according to multiple sources. The victim, 48-year-old Crystal Bell of Kincaid, was pronounced dead at the scene within the vicinity of 1610 West Sangamon Road. JB Pritzker signed legislation Wednesday that seeks to effectively end homelessness in Illinois by marshaling the resources of multiple agencies into one effort. CARLINVILLE -- Law enforcement authorities have captured a suspect with links to a shooting Wednesday night in Carlinville. Carlinville Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Johnson Street where a man was reported shot. 37-year-old Dana Morgan Jr. would receive life-saving treatment at the scene.
