The bi-state region will be under a heat advisory beginning mid-morning on Monday. Temperatures are to be in the 90s to 100s, with heat indexes in the 110s. The affected regions are in south central, southwest, and west central Illinois. Portions of northeastern Missouri, including the St. Louis metro area, are also impacted. Quentin McKittrick TAYLORVILLE -- An Oconee man is facing six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after a recent conviction. Quentin J. McKittrick, 22, received a six-year prison sentence from Judge Brad Paisley on Monday, Apr. 25 for multiple charges. McKittrick is serving four years for the aggravated fleeing of a police officer and unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle. SHELBYVILLE — A Pana man is facing charges after reportedly making fake terrorist threats. 40-year-old William H. Carnahan of Pana is facing two counts of falsely making terrorist threats, which is a Class 1 felony for both offenses.
