VANDALIA -- The Pana Panthers and Nokomis Redskins are among seven teams making the trek to Vandalia this weekend. The Vandalia Holiday Tournament kicks off Friday with eight teams vying for the title. The Redskins, which have been a regular participant since 1974, are the second seed in this year's tournament. ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis CITY SC now has a full-time head coach following the announcement of Yoann Damet as its next skipper on Tuesday. SULLIVAN -- As the Illinois state grocery sales tax winds down and sunsets at the end of 2025, county and local governments have taken action to ensure they continue to receive the tax revenue.
