ECICS to hold registration blitz

NEWMAN — The East Central Illinois Christian School (ECICS) will be holding a registration blitz on August 1-2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Newman Community Center, located at 207 S. Coffin St.

Registration packets will be available for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year.

Teachers and administrative staff will be available to introduce themselves and answer questions.

Abeka curriculum representative Michael Lyons will give a short presentation at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on both evenings. The presentation will best acquaint parents with the curriculum. Lyons will also be available to answer questions they may have.

ECICS is currently a Kindergarten through eighth-grade facility but is making plans to expand to high school grades.

There is a $100 non-refundable enrollment fee per student with a family maximum of $200. The annual tuition for the 2022-23 academic year is $3,400 per student. However, families with multiple students receive a 5% discount for additional students after paying full tuition for the first two students.

Annual and monthly payment options are available. A single annual payment will include a 5% discount. There is also financial aid and scholarships for families financially unable to pay the cost of tuition.
