Two openings at Montgomery County Extension office

HILLSBORO — The University of Illinois Extension currently has two job openings at the Montgomery County Extension Office in Hillsboro. The positions include one opening for an office support assistant and one opening for a 4-H program coordinator.

For the office support assistant, the position will serve as the office’s first point of contact, assisting walk-in clients, handling basic fiscal tasks and performing miscellaneous duties. The 4-H program coordinator position will support the promotion, expansion and implementation of 4-H youth development programs in schools and communities. The position will work closely with established 4-H clubs and special interest groups to fulfill the goals of the 4-H program and provide high-quality learning opportunities surrounding the key aspects of positive youth development, including coordinating and facilitating hands-on educational workshops, after-school learning sessions, exhibition opportunities and community service events.
