Nokomis Easter egg hunt set for April 16

NOKOMIS — The Nokomis Woman’s Club will hold the annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 16. It will be held at Fred B. Johnson Memorial Park.

Children from toddler age to fourth grade are invited to bring their baskets and line up in their designated areas before start time.

The Easter Bunny will be available for photos and to pass out tokens from Dairy Queen after the hunt. Extra eggs for toddlers who are too shy to participate will also be available.

There will be a box inside the gazebo for anyone wishing to recycle their plastic eggs from the hunt.

Winners of the coloring contest will be able to pick up their prizes and have their photos taken after the hunt. The winners’ announcement will be before the hunt.

The event will occur regardless of the weather. Children should come prepared for the conditions on that day.
