TAYLORVILLE — Agriculture will be in the spotlight once again during the Christian County Ag Group’s Ag Appreciation Luncheon.
The event will be on Thursday, July 21 at 11:30 a.m. inside the beer tent at the Christian County Fairgrounds. The 20-year-old event spotlights the importance of agriculture in the county.
The guest speaker for the luncheon is DeLoss Jahnke, lead network anchor for the RFD Radio Network and FarmWeekNow.com. Janke will present remarks on current issues in agriculture both in consideration in Springfield and in our nation’s capital.
Free tickets for the event are available at the following locations:
- Christian County Farm Bureau
- Christian County Soil and Water Conservation District
- Miller Media Group’s Taylorville office
- First National Bank of Pana
The annual luncheon is a joint effort of the Christian County Ag Group and a number of local businesses within Christian County.
