Route 8 refurfacing in Peoria County starting Monday

PEORIA COUNTY — The Illinois Department of Transportation is set to begin a resurfacing project on Route 8 that will close lanes in parts of Peoria County starting next week. The project starts Monday, August 3. Crews will first focus on a stretch of Route 8 from Taylor Road to the Interstate 474 overpass near Edwards.
