Development comes as sale closing comes this week

NOKOMIS -- The closing on the former Nokomis Kroger store will occur sometime this week. Standard Holdings, LLC will close on the former Kroger store, owned by Kroger Limited Partnership. Dollar General considering development of former Kroger building

There has been some activity going on at the former Kroger building in Nokomis recently. Old cooler and freezer equipment have been removed from the building as early as this past Monday, Aug. 9. All of this activity has been taking place while the sale of the building is still pending. Nokomis approves COVID-19 grant payments

NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis City Council would approve $1,000 payments to seven of eight business applicants to the city's grant program. The program, directed at businesses struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was available for a short period of time. The approval of these payments would take place at the regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 14. There was no naming of businesses receiving the grant monies. Kroger to sell CBD products in nearly 1,000 stores

CINCINNATI (Heartland Newsfeed) -- CBD oil will soon be sold in nearly 1,000 stores of the U.S. largest grocery retailer.
