A lot of professionals examine their job in much more depth when they are going through a rough time. If you feel as though this is the case, then you need to do whatever you can to try and not let your emotions cloud your judgment.
You need to think long and hard about the situation that you are in. You also need to make sure that you are taking into account your financial needs as well before pursuing another job.
Sure, it’s human nature to complain and it’s true that no job will ever be perfect. That being said, you need to make sure that your job is not impacting your mental health.
If you are not leaving your emotional baggage at work, it’s possible there are some consequences. You may be taking out your stress on your family or reacting badly to normal situations. If this is the case, then it may be that you need to change jobs. If you do, then you will be able to feel the difference in your emotional state and that you are happier at home as a result. It would not hurt to seek the counsel of a mental health professional to help you manage stress.
You may think that being comfortable and confident in your role shows success. You might even believe that you are in the right job. This is not always the case. It could be a sign of being too comfortable at the job with no intent to work elsewhere.
To truly thrive, put yourself in uncomfortable situations from time to time. If not, then you aren’t doing yourself any favors. If you want a satisfying job, why not go to nursing school and train for the medical sector? Why not pursue another trade?
