REDMOND, Wash./LONDON (UPI) -- Microsoft said Thursday it has agreed to acquire Metaswitch Networks to expand its cloud-based telecom offerings. (UPI) -- Charter Communications Inc. ended speculation it would acquire Sprint Corp., announcing it would not seek a merger between media companies.
