Mets pitching legend Gooden arrested on drug charges

HOLMDEL, N.J. (UPI) -- New York Mets pitching legend Dwight Gooden was arrested in New Jersey last month for cocaine possession and driving under the influence, according to court documents. Gooden, 54, was pulled over in Holmdel, N.J., just before 1 a.m. EDT on June 7, a police spokesperson told the New York Post and New York Times. LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- New Line is working with The Sopranos creator David Chase on a prequel movie to his HBO mob drama The Sopranos.
