Taylorville HS employee pleads guilty to meth possession

TAYLORVILLE -- A Taylorville High School employee has pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. Adam Cherry was under investigation after a district employee tipped off the school board that he was using drugs while on duty. An investigation was performed by Taylorville Police Department. Cherry was arrested during a traffic stop on meth possession and possession of drug paraphernalia before entering the school. Prior to the arrest, Cherry was a nighttime custodian.
