HERRICK -- The filing deadline for the April 6 consolidated election is fast approaching. Those seeking elected office in the village have until 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21 to file. All positions up in April are for four-year terms. The village hall is actively accepting petitions during business hours of 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. until Monday.
