McDonald’s offering new chicken sandwiches next month

CHICAGO (UPI) -- McDonald's announced Monday it will start serving three new chicken sandwiches starting February 24 -- to further compete with chains like Wendy's that more heavily promote chicken. DALLAS (UPI) -- Hindered by depressed demand for air travel, Southwest Airlines on Thursday gave furlough warnings to nearly 7,000 employees after a deal to cut wages by 10% next year stalled.
