PITTSFIELD – Illinois State Police (ISP) District 20 Commander, Captain Jody Huffman, announces the results of Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols (OREP) held in Adams County on August 29, September 2, and September 6.  These OREPs provided extra patrol coverage for the ISP so officers could focus on saving lives by making sure all vehicle occupants were buckled up. HARDIN -- A Calhoun County man has pled guilty to several drugs and weapons charges. The State's Attorney's office reported Tuesday on the conviction of 35-year-old Jonathan E. Myers of Hardin. Myers pled guilty to theft, meth possession, and attempted possession of an explosive or incendiary device. PITTSFIELD -- A Pike County resident has taken trash hauling into his own hands after a recent company took over waste hauling in Pittsfield. Pittsfield and other area residents are upset with changes brought by Canadian-based garbage pick-up service Green For Life (GFL). GFL recently bought out Area Disposal and Trash Queen.
