Illinois early deer hunting numbers up region-wide

SPRINGFIELD -- Illinois hunters have harvested just over 47,000 deer during the first weekend of firearm season. This first weekend was from Nov. 20-22. The overall total of 47,147 falls just over 3,000 short of the 2019 mark of 50,173. These figures come from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Illinois State releases schedule for 2021 swimming and diving

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Redbird Athletics is preparing for their 2021 swimming/diving season. In an Oct. 26 press release, coach Caitlin Hamilton announced the schedule was finalized. "It is a sense of relief to finally have our meet schedule for the upcoming season," Hamilton shares.
