Coroner: Illinois man who died in grain bin accident suffocated

MORRISONVILLE, Ill. (UPI) -- The autopsy of an Illinois man who died in a grain bin accident this week during his first day on the job found he suffocated after being buried in corn. Former Tower Hill village treasurer Nancy Finley pleads guilty to wire fraud

SPRINGFIELD (Heartland Newsfeed) -- A former village treasurer has entered a guilty plea in Federal court on counts relating to wire fraud. Local governments receive block grant monies for public infrastructure projects

SPRINGFIELD (Heartland Newsfeed) -- The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) announced that 26 communities and townships across the state received block grant money, according to a press release released Tuesday.
