Online music service SoundCloud saved by $170 million investment

BERLIN (UPI) -- Digital music service SoundCloud will continue to operate following a new investment round. SoundCloud founder Alexander Ljung confirmed the music-sharing platform is "isn't going away" after being boosted by a $169.5 million investment from The Raine Group and Temasek. Disney sued for collecting private information from children via game apps

BURBANK, Calif. (UPI) -- A class action lawsuit has been filed against Disney and three software companies for allegedly collecting personal information about children playing games on Disney apps. The suit says software companies Upsight, Unity and Kochava gathered information about children under the age of 13 via the internet, which could be a violation of federal law under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Uber investor sues former CEO Kalanick for fraud

SAN FRANCISCO (UPI) -- One of the investors behind the ousting of Travis Kalanick from Uber earlier this summer sued the former CEO on allegations of fraud Thursday. Benchmark Capital Partners, one of the largest shareholders in the ride-hailing service, filed the lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court.
