Visa to buy fintech provider Plaid in $5.3 billion deal

SAN FRANCISCO (UPI) -- Visa has announced it will pay more than $5 billion to acquire financial technology company Plaid, which produces software for startups to connect to users' bank accounts. NEW YORK/DHAHRAN, Saudi Arabia (UPI) -- Saudi Arabia's Aramco raised $29.4 billion in the world's largest initial public offering, surpassing the oil company's original listing by $5 billion.
