Nokomis Woman’s Club hosting fall craft show

NOKOMIS (Heartland Newsfeed) — The Nokomis Woman’s Club is hosting a fall craft show on Saturday, October 14 at Cornerstone Academy, located at 316 E. South St. from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be cakewalks throughout the morning. Free prizes will be awarded throughout the day at the top of each hour. Winners must be present to win.

Booth space can be reserved by calling B.J. Tooley at (217) 851-1309. Booths can offer any variety of home-crafted, upscaled or commercial item.

Proceeds from the craft show are used to fund the club’s many annual events including Treats with Santa, the Easter egg hunt and the “My Marvelous Mother” essay contest and also makes donations to various community and charitable causes.
