An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of West Elm Street in reference to a suspicious person.

An officer was dispatched to Gillespie Police Department to speak with a female in reference to harassment by telephone.

An officer was dispatched to Gillespie Police Department to speak with a male in reference to a child custody issue.

An officer was dispatched to a business in the 100 block of North Macoupin Street in reference to a traffic crash.

An officer was dispatched to the alleyway between Park Avenue and Elm Street in reference to four-wheelers driving recklessly.

An officer was dispatched to Gillespie Police Department to speak with a female in reference to a suspicious person.

An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of South Macoupin Street in reference to an animal complaint.

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Harding Avenue in East Gillespie in reference to criminal trespass.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Main Street in Benld in reference to a 911 call.

MONDAY, MAY 27, 2024

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Second Street in reference to an abandoned vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of North 8^th Street in Benld in reference to a theft.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South 6^th Street in Benld in reference to criminal damage to property.

An officer was dispatched to a business in the 400 block of South Macoupin Street in reference to criminal trespass to property.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Shelby Street in reference to a medical assist.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of South Macoupin Street in reference to an alarm sounding.

An officer was dispatched to 1300 block of Staunton Road in reference to a car versus deer traffic crash.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of LJ Avenue in reference to a motorist assist.

An officer spoke with a female at Gillespie Police Department in reference to a theft in the 600 block of Francis Street.

An officer was dispatched to a business in the 300 block of North Macoupin Street in reference to a medical assist.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Dorsey Road in Mt. Clare to assist the Village of Mt. Clare in the delivery of legal papers.

An officer was dispatched to South Macoupin Street and Lorraine Drive to assist the Gillespie Fire Department with traffic control in reference to an oil spill.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of East Elm Street in reference to a civil standby.

THURSDAY, MAY 30, 2024

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of South First Street in reference to a domestic dispute. Makayla D. Jackson, 26, of Shipman was arrested on a Macoupin County warrant for failure to appear on an assault.

An officer was dispatched to South 1^st Street in Benld in reference to a suspicious person.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Rose Street and 1^st Street in Benld. Todd L. Geninatti, 49, of Gillespie was arrested for driving while license was suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to Gillespie Police Department to speak with a female in reference to a missing juvenile from the 600 block of Charles Street.

An officer spoke with a male at Gillespie Police Department in reference to a civil issue.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Springfield Road in East Gillespie in reference to illegal burning.

An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Rose Street in Benld in reference to a theft.  Joseph L. Kelley, 20, of Staunton was arrested for theft and criminal damage to property.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of West Virginia Street in East Gillespie in reference to a domestic dispute.

An officer was dispatched to the 900 block of North Hard Road in reference to in Mt. Clare in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Park Street in Benld in reference to an elderly female who wondered away from home.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Francis Street in reference to a neighbor dispute.

An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of East Maple Street in reference to a domestic dispute.

An officer spoke with a male at Gillespie Police Department in reference to a civil issue.

FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2024

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of North Macoupin Street in reference to a hit-and-run traffic crash.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Central Avenue and 5^th Street in Benld.  Asa M. Proctor, 45, of Gillespie was arrested for driving while license were revoked and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of West Chestnut Street in reference to a pedestrian hit-and-run.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of East Elm Street in reference to a found item.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Central Avenue and 1^st Street in Benld.  Rodney A. Dunaway, 36, of Collinsville was issued a citation for expired registration.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of South Macoupin Street in reference to juvenile issues.

An officer was dispatched to Springfield Road and spoke with a male in reference to private property he was on.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of South Jersey Street in reference to a medical issue.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Berry Street in Mt. Clare in reference to neighborhood trouble.

An officer spoke with a female at Gillespie Police Department in reference to a theft at the 600 block of Edwards Street.

An officer was dispatched to 500 block of Jersey Street in reference to a neighbor dispute.

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of East Pine Street in reference to a house check.

SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2024

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of South 1^st in Benld in reference to a battery.

An officer was dispatched to South Street and Green Street in reference to a traffic crash.  Isaiah D. Roberts, 20, of Benld was issued citations for illegal consumption of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and illegal transportation of alcohol.  Evan T. Webb, 19, of Benld was issued a citation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Keller J. Brunetto, 19, of Gillespie was issued a citation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Maple Street in Benld in reference to suspicious activity.

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Staunton Road in reference to a 911 call.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of East Walnut Street in reference to a 911 call.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Springfield Road and Illinois Avenue in East Gillespie. Kaleb N. Beck, 24, of Benld was arrested for violation of an order of protection.

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of North 7^th Street in Benld in reference to a battery. Merrill L. Vanvleck, 49, of Benld was arrested for battery and aggravated assault.

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Madison Street in reference to a domestic dispute.

An officer was dispatched to a business in the 100 block of the South Hard Road in Mt. Clare in reference to criminal trespassing.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Park Street in Benld in reference to a domestic dispute.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2024

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Central Avenue and 4^th Street in Benld. Roger C. Conlee Jr. 52, of Gillespie was issued a citation for suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to Gillespie Police Department to speak with a female in reference to identity theft.

Ashley N. Goth, 39, of Highland was arrested on a Macoupin County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of South Kentucky Street in Benld in reference to a domestic dispute.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Springfield Road and Illinois Avenue in East Gillespie. Michael A. Gagnon, 46, of Edwardsville was issued a citation for speeding.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Sawyerville Hills Road and Route 138 in Mt. Clare. Brittany N. Stinnett, 33 of Bethalto was arrested for driving while her license was suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Macoupin Street and Pine Street. Dylan M. Swank, 21, of Gillespie was issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

An officer was dispatched to Park Street and 2^nd Street in Benld in reference to juvenile issues.

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Osie Street in reference to a medical assist.

An officer initiated a traffic stop at Central Avenue and Main Street in Benld. Liberty D. King, 22, of Gillespie was issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
