NOKOMIS — Upcoming server maintenance by the hosting provider of our broadcast server might impact radio listeners next week.
SoundStack, the parent company of Live365 and Abovecast, alerted up of an upcoming maintenance project that could impact some Heartland Newsfeed Radio Network listeners early next week.
Ongoing modernization efforts by SoundStack will result in broadcast streams hosted on the ais-sa2.cdnstream1.com cluster next Monday, August 14 as well as Tuesday, August 15. This cluster affects both the Live365 stream and our ad replacement server with Abovecast. Our streams will be moving to a new streaming management platform.
No changes are expected for either of our stream URLs at this time as a result of this migration.
SoundStack is expecting no stream downtime to occur during this migration. However, active listening sessions of longer than 24 hours will restart during the maintenance window. This will ultimately impact our simulcast on Twitch.
