
MOWEAQUA — The Muddy Water Rendezvous in Moweaqua will be this Saturday and Sunday.
Events will include tomahawk throwing, longbow shooting, black powder gun demonstrations, blacksmithing, woodworking, rug weaving, spinning wheel demonstrations, and a candy cannon.
A meal of ham and beans or vegetable soup will be available on Saturday. Chili will be the meal on Sunday. Hot dogs, sloppy joes, and baked beans will be provided on both days, along with water. All will be prepared over an open fire.
The Rendezvous is located west of Moweaqua Golf Course. In downtown Moweaqua, head west from the four-way stop. Follow signs to Moweaqua Golf Course and continue 1.5 miles further to the west. Turn in at a sign on the right side of the road and follow the drive to the parking area.
