Due to the upcoming Labor Day holiday, the Heartland Newsfeed staff is adjusting some office hours, both in-person and remote.
The following will be the office hours between Thursday, Sept. 1 and Wednesday, Sept. 7. All times are in U.S. Central time:
Thursday, Sept. 1 and Friday, Sept. 2
Regular news operations will take place on both Thursday and Friday, with the usual 5 p.m. deadline for advertising and 11 p.m. deadline for news submissions.
While newsroom operations will be running on Friday, all other operations will be on holiday hiatus through Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Saturday, Sept. 3
Newsroom operations will be operating at a limited capacity on Saturday. There is a 5 p.m. deadline for all editorial/news content submissions for publication on Labor Day,
Sunday, Sept. 4, and Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5
All operations outside of the digital newsdesk will not be open on Sunday or on Labor Day.
Tuesday, Sept. 6 and Wednesday, Sept. 7
News operations will resume as normal.
