JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — What was originally to be a month of television tapings in Miami is apparently no longer the plan. That is, according to some insiders related to All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Sources at Ringside News and Heel By Nature would reference a Bodyslam report regarding the sudden changes.
The promotion has been filming Dynamite and AEW Dark at Daily’s Place since the pandemic took them off the road.
The previously-planned tapings in Miami were to include a “Beach Break” special, as well as a pay-per-view. During the tapings, the annual PPV show Revolution would take place.
However, per Bodyslam’s Cassidy Haynes, that is off the table. Therefore, they will remain in Jacksonville for the foreseeable future.
This news comes after the February 24 Dynamite show in Newark, N.J. would receive another rescheduling blow. As a result, AEW is planning on trying again for September 15.
Per the report:
Employees received an email this morning [saturday, jan. 16] informing them that they will be remaining in jacksonville for the “indefinite future.”
This would also eliminate any potential moves to Miami or any plans on moving to South Beach.
