Live and online auction will feature a solid lineup of tractors, implements, toys and memorabilia plus filming for upcoming season of RFD-TV’s “Classic Tractor Fever”
NOKOMIS (Heartland Newsfeed) — If you drive along Illinois Route 16 west of Nokomis, you can notice a buzz of activity on the premises of Aumann Auctions, Inc., which are preparing for their 23
rd Annual Fall Harvest Antique Tractor Auction set for October 20-21.
For the second year in a row, the auction will take place in Nokomis at their auction headquarters, where building renovations earlier this year will help create a more comfortable bidding experience with the RFD-TV Network program “Classic Tractor Fever” filming footage on-site for its upcoming season airing in 2018.
“We are geared up for another great Fall Harvest Antique Tractor Auction,” says Kurt Aumann, Aumann Auctions, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer. “This is a special event for people to visit, talk tractors and hopefully take home something to add to their collections.”
The auction, both live and online, is expected to feature hundreds of tractors, memorabilia and toys, drawing interest from enthusiasts and collectors from around the world. Food vendors will also be on the premises with concessions with community organizations selling raffle tickets for their local tractor chapter.
Representatives from the City of Nokomis’ council, including mayor Terry Hill, and several Nokomis businesses are helping Aumann Auctions make this a fun, successful event for the local community as well for out-of-town visitors.
“We are grateful to area businesses and community leaders for supporting this event. As a small business ourselves, we recognize the importance of helping bring customers to local businesses,” said Jodi Reynolds, Aumann Auctions Chief Operating Officer. “We anticipate a large number of out-of-town attendees who will also visit other businesses in the area during their trip.”
The live auction will begin at 10 a.m. on both days. Tractor parts, implements, toys, memorabilia and literature will go on sale Friday with tractor sales taking place Saturday. Real-time online bidding will be
available online via simulcast on the day of the auction. More information can be received by calling them at (888) 282-8648.
