LITCHFIELD (Heartland Newsfeed) — State Representative Avery Bourne (R-Raymond) will be holding an open house at her new district office in Litchfield, now located at 207 N. State St., on Monday, October 16 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and again from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bourne is inviting constituents from within the district to drop by and meet her and her staff. Coffee and donuts will be provided for the morning guests.
In an effort to save taxpayer dollars, Bourne only operates one district office as a central location in Litchfield and regularly holds monthly traveling office hours in Carlinville and Taylorville to help increase access for constituents within the district, which includes a small section of Madison County, most of Christian and Macoupin counties and all of Montgomery County.
“Everyone is welcome at our Open House. Please stop by, see where our new office is located, and say ‘Hello’,” said Bourne. “If you need assistance or information about state programs, we would be happy to help. We take pride in our constituent service and the ability to help individuals navigate state government.”
