Disney sued for collecting private information from children via game apps

BURBANK, Calif. (UPI) -- A class action lawsuit has been filed against Disney and three software companies for allegedly collecting personal information about children playing games on Disney apps. The suit says software companies Upsight, Unity and Kochava gathered information about children under the age of 13 via the internet, which could be a violation of federal law under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. New Mexico private prison to close because doesn’t have enough inmates to profit

(UPI) -- Private prison operators in New Mexico said they will close one of its prisons because it doesn't have enough inmates to make a profit. Private equity firm KKR to buy WebMD for $2.8 billion

With Sessions’ sentencing change, it’s time to end secrecy around private prisons

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently announced new guidelines (justice.gov) that will result in a significant increase in the prison population, directing federal prosecutors to seek the toughest penalties possible for nonviolent defendants.
