Coalton board discusses audit, maintenance

COALTON -- The annual audit was an item of discussion during the Coalton village board's meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Trustee Steve Lee presented his report as finance chair, which would include the audit. A quarterly review is also now complete. Special election for Christian County State's Attorney set for 2022

TAYLORVILLE -- The resignation of Christian County State's Attorney Mike Havera leaves the position wide open for the special election in 2022. Wes Poggenpohl was brought into the office by Havera to get used to day-to-day operations and to make a smooth transition.
