Vandalia facing multiple charges in Fayette County
VANDALIA -- A Vandalia man is facing multiple charges in Fayette County court. 40-year-old Michael L. Kimrey of Vandalia has been charged with aggravated battery to a police officer for allegedly shoving a correctional officer to the ground. The charge is a Class 2 felony. Kimrey is also charged with criminal damage to property of between $500 and $10,000 for allegedly damaging two windows and drywall at a residence on West Jefferson Street in Vandalia.
