With Sessions’ sentencing change, it’s time to end secrecy around private prisons
Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently announced new guidelines (justice.gov) that will result in a significant increase in the prison population, directing federal prosecutors to seek the toughest penalties possible for nonviolent defendants. U.S. Supreme Court backs quicker approval of drug copies

(UPI) -- The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled Monday that biotech drug copies -- called biosimilars -- can become available to consumers quicker.
