Indy preseason pick to win GLVC football title

INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis (Indy) was voted atop the 2021 preseason Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) football coaches’ poll, the league office announced on Friday. The preseason poll is selected by the league’s eight head coaches. The coaches are cannot vote for their own team. Indy received five of eight first-place votes to top the conference vote. Macon Speedway racing canceled due to rain

MACON -- Macon Speedway officials as well as those from the Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprint Cars and POWRi series have announced the cancellation of the Saturday, July 31 event at the track. Steady rainfall hit the area around 7:00 a.m. and isn’t expected to stop until the afternoon hours.
