NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) is the preseason favorite in the inaugural Big South-OVC Football Association football poll. The league's head coaches voted Tuesday as part of Media Day activities at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville. Martin named SIU broadcasting director

CARBONDALE - Southern Illinois University and LEARFIELD/Saluki Sports Properties, announced Friday the naming of Luke Martin. Martin will become the new director of broadcasting and radio "Voice of the Salukis." Martin, who succeeds Saluki Hall of Fame broadcaster Mike Reis, begins on July 24.For the past six seasons, Martin was the play-by-play voice for Indiana State football, men's basketball, and baseball. CARBONDALE — The Southern Illinois University Department of Athletics announced its 2023 Saluki Hall of Fame class Tuesday.
