CARBONDALE -- Johno Fergusson is receiving a promotion to associate head coach of the SIU Salukis swimming and diving team. Head coach Geoff Hanson made the announcement Saturday in a press release. NASHVILLE/BELLEVILLE – The Illinois State Police (ISP) has arrested three men involved in the death of a Washington County man. ISP's Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced the arrests Thursday in a news release. The arrests have links to the death of 44-year-old Montez Pearson following an extensive investigation. Martin will become the new director of broadcasting and radio "Voice of the Salukis."
