DECATUR — The October opening date for the new Tillamook facility is set to be on schedule, according to an email provided by a company spokesperson. “We are still on track for a fall opening,” the email read. Tillamook County Creamery Association, based in Oregon, announced in early 2023 that they would be purchasing the former Prairie Farms facility on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a new ice cream factory. CHARLESTON -- The Walmart Supercenter stores in Charleston and Urbana will soon be renovated as part of a large-scale rebranding initiative by the company. A spokesperson for Walmart confirmed the news via email Thursday afternoon. Several Illinois stores, including locations in Champaign and Shelbyville, have already undergone renovations. FORSYTH -- The former Hometown Buffet in Forsyth will soon be home to two new prominent national businesses. Starbucks and Five Below have both announced they will soon open locations on the property. Hometown Buffet closed the Forsyth restaurant in February 2016 due to financial performance issues.
